Chandigarh property: Hidden charges driving me crazy
My kids' school admission is next year and we desperately need a bigger place, but I'm getting so frustrated with all these hidden costs. We're looking for a 3BHK in Sector 24C, budget around ₹1.5Cr, but the final price always jumps. Builders quote one thing, then stamp duty, registration, and this 'PLC' add so much. Honestly, I'm fed up with surprises. Just last week, a project we liked suddenly mentioned 'infrastructure development charges' and 'club membership' right before we were about to finalise. That's another 8-10 lakhs out of nowhere! My wife was fuming, saying it feels like a trap. Has anyone else faced these kinds of last-minute charges in Chandigarh? How do you even get the *real* all-in cost breakdown from the start? It's impossible to plan with this uncertainty.
