Chandigarh property owners: What's the real rental scene?
Rental income expectations for Chandigarh properties are often too high, I'm realizing. Just bought a flat in Chandigarh a few months back, and yaar, finding good tenants is a whole task. I'm helping a friend who's looking to buy here, specifically eyeing Saini Bhawan ya Ambika Florence Park. Ambika Florence Park toh ready hai, so rental potential immediately dikhta hai. But Saini Bhawan ka abhi construction status 'null' hai, matlab time lagega. What do you guys think about their rental potential? Saini Bhawan, with its higher-end range, will attract a different crowd. Ambika Florence Park, being ready, might get tenants faster. But for how much? Is the rent difference worth the wait for Saini Bhawan? Aur kya wahan ghost society risk hai if investor ratio high hai? Any first-hand experience with these?

Yaar, you hit the nail on the head! Chandigarh mein rental market is a different beast altogether. I'm also looking for something in New Chandigarh, but the rental yields seem so low compared to property prices. Saini Bhawan ka price range ₹50 L – ₹8.0 Cr sunke toh darr lag raha hai, iska rent kitna hi aa jayega? Aur 'null' status ka matlab kya hai exactly?
U1, 'null' status usually means construction hasn't started or is completely stalled
