posted on 7 MayChandigarh property search: Sector 18D price reality check?
Since last year, I've been so fed up of renting; my landlord just hiked it again. Finally taking the plunge to buy in Chandigarh. I'm looking at Sector 18D, seems pretty central. But the property prices there, especially for a 2BHK, feel really high, like ₹80-90L sometimes. Is that justified for the area? Or are brokers just quoting insane numbers? Honestly, not sure if there's any negotiation room or if that's just wishful thinking. What's the real ground reality for property prices in Sector 18D? Any advice on negotiating?

Totally understand your frustration, bhai! Landlords are just something else. 80-90L for a 2BHK in 18D *does* sound steep, even for Chandigarh. I was looking there too, and the quotes were just crazy. Are these prices even selling, or just 'asking' prices? Negotiation seems impossible sometimes.
Haan bhai, same pinch! Brokers toh aise quote karte hain jaise gold plated ho sab. Lagta hai they just try their luck.
