₹1.8 lakh extra just for stamp duty and registration — that hit hard. Just moved into my 2BHK in Sector 24C last month. Builder ne quote toh ₹85 lakh kiya tha, but yeh hidden costs ne budget hila diya. Stamp duty, registration, legal fees, society maintenance advance... it all added almost 10% to the total. Reputed Builder tha, so I thought sab transparent hoga. But things nobody told me before signing the final papers. Is there any way to negotiate these or prepare better for them? Yaar, log kaise manage karte hain yeh sab. Koi tips for first-time buyers in Chandigarh to keep the 'all-in' cost closer to the advertised price? PLC charges bhi lag gaye. My experience says they're non-negotiable, right?

Bhai, exactly my fear! I'm looking at properties in New Chandigarh, and builders quote one price, but then these 'extra charges' always pop up. 10% extra is a huge hit for a first-time buyer. Kya koi official source hai jahan se yeh saare hidden costs pehle hi pata chal jayein?
Same here, I'm eyeing Mullanpur Garibdass. This post just made my anxiety shoot up!
