Been looking for a 3BHK in New Chandigarh for months now, upgrading from my 2BHK in Sector 44. Prices have shot up, and builders often delay. I'm worried about legal protections. Is RERA actually effective ya sirf on paper hai? Pehle suna tha builder ka track record check karna important hai, but even RERA registered projects face issues. Has anyone successfully used RERA against a builder for delays here? What was your experience?

Totally agree with you! I booked a 3BHK in New Chandigarh almost three years ago, expecting possession last year. Abhi tak sirf 'delay due to approvals' sunne ko mil raha hai. RERA mein complaint daali thi, hearing bhi hui, but builder ne bas time maanga
Bhai, RERA toh bas naam ka hai. Mullanpur Garibdass mein ek project dekha tha, 2 saal late chal raha hai, aur RERA ne ab tak kuch action nahi liya.
