Chandigarh's metro talk is just a distraction

Sector 24C — been thinking of buying here, finally fed up of renting. Landlord raised rent again, so EMI vs rent math is on my mind. Everyone glorifies this sector's peace, but nobody talks about the *real* daily commute. Chandigarh mein metro ki baatein toh bohot hoti hain, but ground reality kya hai? Is it just lip service? Honestly, I'm not sure if the lack of metro connectivity is a deal-breaker for people. How bad is the traffic during peak hours, yaar? Is it a smooth drive or total chaos to get to, say, IT Park or Mohali? I'm worried about wasting hours daily. Log kehte hain "Chandigarh is well-planned," but without a proper transit system, how long will that last? Change my mind.
