Visited Unitech Verve on Saturday after being totally fed up of renting for years. My landlord just raised rent again, so I'm finally taking the plunge, trying to make the EMI vs rent math work. Honestly, the brochure looked decent for the ₹53-61L range, but the actual 2BHK carpet area felt way smaller than I imagined – like, seriously cramped. What really got me though were the 'hidden' costs. A resident mentioned maintenance is ₹5-6k a month, plus extra for parking and power backup. That adds a huge amount to the total cost. Is this normal for completed projects in Noida? Are these charges genuinely justified, or just a way to push up the effective price? I thought completed meant no surprises...
