posted on 6 MayConsidering Krishna Kunj for my first home – need ground reality checks
My lease ends in 3 months and I'm seriously considering buying in Krishna Kunj. I'm looking at a 2BHK there, budget around ₹45-50L. My parents keep saying to check basics first, but honestly, I'm not sure what to ask. For current residents, how's the water situation? Is municipal water reliable, or do we depend on borewells/tankers a lot? Also, power cuts in the area – are they frequent? Does everyone have good DG backup? And parking, yaar. I saw a few projects but the parking felt tight. Is it a daily battle for space? Any hidden costs related to these things? Just trying to get a real feel before I commit.

Hey, I'm also looking in Krishna Kunj! Same budget, same worries. My biggest concern is water. Kya sach mein wahan pani ki problem hai? Suna hai borewell pe hi depend karna padta hai.
Haan bhai, pani ka issue hai. Municipal water supply bahut limited hai, especially in summers. Mostly borewell ya tanker se kaam chalana padta hai. Tanker ka kharcha alag se aata hai, around ₹800-1000 per tanker, depending on size.
