The utility situation in most new Delhi apartments is totally different from what's promised. Just moved into DDA Meera Apartment last month, and I'm honestly surprised by the power backup. They said full flat, but it's barely for common areas and a few lights. Also, water supply feels a bit iffy already; heard talk of tanker dependency in summers, which worries me. What’s everyone else’s experience here with DDA projects? Is this common for Delhi, or did I miss something? Should I expect this to be the norm?

Bhai, DDA projects have always been like this. Possession date 2012-12-01 for Meera Apartments, right? Old projects mein yeh sab common hai. You really need to check these things before buying. Did you not check with existing residents?
Totally relate! I'm looking at DDA flats in Alaknanda and this power backup issue is everywhere. Builder promises sound great on paper, but reality hits hard.
