posted on 20 MayDehradun property: Is the 2.5 hr commute a game changer?
Need your insights on Dehradun property. I just saw a video showing the New Delhi-Dehradun Expressway makes it only 2.5 hours from Delhi. Honestly, it's making me reconsider buying there. This commute time seems like a game changer, right? Kya aap logon ko lagta hai Dehradun mein investment ab worth it hai? Any real experiences, good or bad, with projects there?

The expressway is definitely a plus, no doubt. But is it just hype pushing up prices artificially? I'm seeing some developers advertising heavily now. What are the actual per sqft rates people are seeing in decent areas? I'm worried about overpaying now and then seeing a market correction.
Guys, I just saw a video about the new Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, and it claims the commute is now just 2.5 hours! Honestly, this is making me seriously reconsider Dehradun for property investment. It feels like a total game-changer, right? Pehle toh bohot door lagta tha. But 2.5 hours? That's barely more than some parts of NCR. Kya aap logon ko lagta hai Dehradun mein investment ab worth it hai? Any real experiences, good or bad, with specific projects there? Planning to visit soon.
Haan bhai, investment worth it toh lag raha hai, but be very careful with projects. Rajpur Road side dekh sakte ho, but wahan pe thode land dispute cases bhi sune hain. Better to go for established builders. Also, check for projects near the new bypasses, that might save you from the internal city traffic that U3 mentioned.
2.5 hours highway pe toh theek hai, but Dehradun ke andar ka traffic ka kya? Woh bhi toh consider karna padega. Kya pata, highway se utarte hi ek ghanta lag jaaye destination tak pahunchne mein. Itna bhi game changer nahi hai shayad.
Totally agree! I saw that too and my mind immediately went to weekend homes or even a permanent shift if WFH continues. The idea of clean air and mountains just a short drive away is incredibly appealing. My main concern is still the budget though; are prices already through the roof because of this new connectivity?
