Since last Diwali, we've been scouting for a 3BHK in Delhi, kids are growing up. My wife's priority is a safe locality with good schools. Vasant Kunj and Saket ke prices dekh ke toh dimaag ghoom gaya, ₹3Cr+ for a decent flat! We're now considering Dwarka. Honestly, I'm trying to figure out if home loan tax benefits, like Section 24 and 80C, actually make a significant dent in such a big investment. Is it just a small saving? Also, with Metro Phase IV coming, will areas like Rohini see real appreciation, ya just hype? Thinking about a Godrej Properties project there.

Bhai, your situation is exactly ours! Vasant Kunj toh sapna hi reh gaya. Dwarka is practical, but the tax benefits, honestly, they feel like a drop in the ocean when you're looking at a 3 Cr loan. I've calculated it, and it barely covers a month or two of EMI in a year. Is it really worth stretching for? Thinking about Rohini too, but Godrej projects are pricey there as well. Metro phase IV ka hype toh hai, but will it translate to genuine appreciation ya phir bas investors ka game banega?
