Delhi builders never give real discounts on property.
Is builder negotiation in Delhi just a formality? I'm looking at a 2BHK in Lal Bagh, maybe from Sun Real Estate, and the prices seem quite firm. They're quoting around ₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK, but honestly, I don't know how much room there is to actually bargain. Kitna percent realistically kam ho sakta hai, like 2-3% or even more? Yaar, meri first property hai, so I'm trying to save every bit. Should I even try to negotiate hard or is it a lost cause? Also, I'm super worried about hidden costs. Suna hai possession ke time pe maintenance corpus, PLC, OC fees, power backup charges, sab add ho jaate hain. Koi bata sakta hai ki total property cost ka kitna percentage extra rakhna padta hai for all these? Aisa lagta hai base price toh bas starting point hai. Any tips for a first-time buyer like me to avoid these surprises?
