Section 24 benefits for an investment property in South Delhi, kitna real hai? I bought a 3BHK in Saket last year, around ₹3.5 Cr, thinking interest on home loan will save some good tax. But with the rental yield barely 2.5%, and EMI so high, the actual tax saving doesn't feel like a game-changer. My financial advisor ne toh bahut bade numbers dikhaye the. Is it just me, ya ye tax hacks utne effective nahi hain for Delhi properties anymore? Especially with prices in areas like Vasant Kunj, it's tough to make the numbers work. What are others' experiences with actual tax savings on investment properties here?

Totally feel you, bhai! My CA also made it sound like a goldmine, but after buying a 2BHK in Alaknanda for 1.8 Cr, the reality hit hard. EMI is killing me, and the tenant search itself is a headache. Plus, the maintenance costs eat into whatever little rental income comes. Section 24 ka benefit toh bas paper pe hi dikhta hai, actual cash flow mein difference minimal hai. Lagta hai hum sab ko ek hi sapna dikhaya gaya tha.
