Vasant Kunj – been eyeing properties here for months, fed up of renting yaar. Landlord ne rent phir badha diya, so finally taking the plunge. I'm looking at a 3BHK, maybe ₹2.5Cr range. Builders like DLF are quoting prices, but real negotiation kitni possible hai? Kitna discount expect kar sakte hain? Aur ye hidden charges ka kya scene hai? Stamp duty, registration, parking, PLC... sab mila ke kitna upar jaata hai total cost? Sunna hai possession ke time pe aur bhi unexpected costs aate hain. Should I trust their 'all-inclusive' quotes? Kya koi way hai to get a transparent breakdown from day one?

Hidden charges toh ek headache hai hi, but ye negotiation ka kya scene hai? Vasant Kunj mein ₹2.5Cr ke budget mein kitna real discount
Sahi baat hai! Last year, main Ansal Villas mein ek plot dekh raha tha. Broker ne bola sab clear hai, but jab paper work shuru hua, toh EDC/IDC charges, infrastructure development fees, society formation charges... pata nahi kya-kya nikal aaya. Jo ₹2Cr ka property tha, woh ₹2.25Cr tak pahunch gaya easily. Ye log initial quote mein sirf basic cost batate hain, baaki sab 'hidden' rakhte hain. Negotiation ke liye toh hardly 5% bhi nahi milta, upar se ye extra charges alag.
Haan yaar, same experience with a project near Aram Bagh. They show you one figure, then slowly, slowly, it keeps adding up. It's like a death by a thousand cuts for our budget. Har cheez pe GST alag.
Bhai, toh kitna extra laga tha aapko percentage wise? Mujhe bhi Anand Vihar mein ek project pasand aaya hai, darr lag raha hai.
Totally relate, yaar! Vasant Kunj mein rent ka scene toh alag hi chal raha hai. But ye 'all-inclusive' quotes ekdum misleading hote hain. Mera friend Anand Niketan mein ghar le raha tha, usko bhi pehle kuch aur quote kiya, baad mein sab add karte gaye. Transparency naam ki cheez nahi hai builders ke paas.
