Okay I'll be honest — kids moved out, selling big house. CGHS Solomon Heights, amenities bas dikhawa hain. Gym band, pool ganda, maintenance high. What's the point? Change my mind.

It's a tough one, especially with older projects like Solomon Heights. Builders often move on, leaving residents to deal with the burden of neglected amenities. In today's market, especially with so many new projects coming up in Delhi and stricter RERA norms, buyers are more aware. But still, due diligence is key – don't just look at the shiny brochures. Visit multiple times, talk to current residents, and check reviews online. This is a common issue in areas like Aram Bagh too, where older societies struggle with maintenance.
CGHS Solomon Heights toh 2006 ka project hai, as per records. 135 units hain. Tab RERA bhi nahi tha, toh legal recourse for amenities might be tricky, so a formal RERA complaint isn't possible for this one. But still, basic upkeep toh banta hai. It's a shame.
U11, absolutely! Tab toh aur zyada tha. Builders knew there wasn't much regulation, so they'd promise anything – 'swimming pool', 'clubhouse', 'jogging track'. It was buyer beware to the extreme, which is why these older projects often have these issues.
2006? Wow, that's old. Kya tab bhi aise promises hote the and no consequences for builders?
Haan yaar, this is so common. I almost booked a place near Ansal Villas and the sales guy kept showing us these fancy renders of a 'world-class' clubhouse. My uncle warned me, said check the maintenance records and talk to existing residents before trusting anything. What was the maintenance charge like at Solomon Heights? Did they ever try to fix the gym or pool after 2006?
₹15k is insane for non-existent amenities! Total rip-off, especially for a project from 2006. This is why I'm so nervous about booking anything.
U4, maintenance was around ₹15,000 a month initially, and for what? Just for security and basic cleaning. Gym was always 'under repair' ya 'equipment kharab hai'. Pool toh ganda hi rehta tha most of the time, so no, they didn't really fix it.
But for ₹3.2 Cr – ₹3.8 Cr, you'd expect *some* functional amenities, no? Ye toh bahut high price hai for ghost facilities. Even in Alaknanda, some older societies manage their amenities well. Is there no way to hold them accountable?
Totally agree with the post! Mere dost ke saath bhi aisa hi hua Anand Niketan mein. Builders promise the moon, but deliver dust. Very frustrating.
