Since January I'm shortlisting flats like Meenakshi High Life Towers. Builders promise great amenities, but is the clubhouse actually used? Do maintenance charges really give value for money, yaar?

It's a common issue across Bangalore, not just Meenakshi High Life Towers. Builders use these fancy amenities to justify higher prices. With the project status 'ONGOING' and possession date 2027-08-01, you have to be very careful. The RERA number PRM/KA/RERA/1251/309/PR/200923/006268 is good, shows they're registered, but does it guarantee timely delivery or functional amenities? Current market mein delays are rampant.
Haan, but some amenities are genuinely useful, like a good gym or a dedicated kids' play area. It's about finding the right balance. My concern is more about the quality of construction for these ongoing projects. Anyone checked their RERA history for other projects?
Bhai, this is not just marketing fluff, it's a trap! I almost booked in a project near Aavalahalli a couple of years ago, they had a mini-theatre, bowling alley, you name it. Then I spoke to residents of their older project – half the amenities were never functional, and the other half had exorbitant charges. For Meenakshi High Life Towers' price range (₹1.4 Cr – ₹3.7 Cr), the maintenance will be insane. Think about the hidden costs!
U6, that's the thing. Most people don't use them daily. Phir bhi maintenance charges toh lagte hi hain!
Your Aavalahalli experience is eye-opening. For Meenakshi High Life, 313 units hain. If even half of them don't use the expensive amenities, then why are we paying for it? What's the point of a huge clubhouse if it's always empty?
My biggest fear with these 'luxury' amenities is the maintenance cost. Builders promise the world, but once possession is done, who manages it? And for Meenakshi High Life, 2027 is still far, what if the builder delays?
U3, you hit the nail on the head. Developers often use future promises as a selling point. For Meenakshi High Life, check their previous projects. See if they delivered amenities as promised there and if possession was on time. It's not just about the RERA number, it's about the builder's track record and transparent answers about amenity handover and maintenance corpus. Don't just rely on marketing brochures.
Exactly! My cousin bought a flat in a project near Akshayanagar, they had a 'rooftop lounge' that's now just an empty terrace. Builder ne bola tha ek baar society banegi toh maintain hoga, but ab koi nahi karta. Meenakshi High Life mein bhi same ho sakta hai.
Totally agree, yaar! Meenakshi High Life Towers sounds good on paper but kitna hi use hoga swimming pool agar weekend pe hi time milega? Maintenance alag headache.
Sahi baat hai! Mera bhi same thought process hai. Sirf show-off ke liye hota hai.
