Prestige City — heard good things but also some concerns. Currently in a 2BHK in Marathahalli, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK there or a villa. I'm already on a home loan, so the price jump needs to be justified. My biggest worry as an investor is if full-flat power backup is actually delivered, or just common areas? And water supply reliability – will tenants face tanker dependency? These impact resale and tenant satisfaction hugely. Is the premium worth these potential headaches? Has anyone had issues with power or water in projects like Prestige City after a couple of years?

Yaar, I'm eyeing Prestige City too, but this 'investor trap' point is hitting home. I'm already in Marathahalli, and getting full flat power backup and consistent water is a nightmare here. If I upgrade to a 3BHK or a villa, I expect these basics to be rock solid, especially at their price point. Is it just me, or do all builders over-promise on utilities?
Bhai, you're not alone! My experience with a similar 'premium' project near Agrahara Layout was a disaster. They promised 24/7 power backup for the whole apartment, but it was only for common areas and one light point per room. Water supply? Forget it. Tanker dependency was so high, my tenants left after a year. Resale value took a huge hit. Prestige ka naam bada hai, but promises check karna bahut zaroori hai.
