Devika Skypers in Ghaziabad: How good is the commute really?
Hey folks, I've been looking into ready-to-move options and Devika Skypers in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad, caught my eye. It's a completed 6-acre project by Devika Group, offering 1, 2, and 3 BHK apartments, priced from ₹16.52 L to ₹97.00 L, with an average of ₹5500/Sqft. Since it's ready-to-move, practical livability is key, especially the commute for daily life. Road connectivity from Raj Nagar Extension is generally good, connecting to major Ghaziabad roads and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. This helps for those who drive. For metro access, the nearest station, Hindon River, on the Red Line, is a few kilometers away, meaning you'll need an auto or short drive to get there. This adds a little to the daily travel time. Regarding business hubs, for those working in Noida Sector 62/63, it's manageable, possibly a 45-60 minute commute depending on traffic. Central Delhi hubs, however, would be a longer haul, easily 1.5 to 2 hours one way, combining road and metro. This is a big factor for end-users. The local transport infrastructure within Raj Nagar Extension is developing, with shared autos and e-rickshaws being common. Overall, while Devika Skypers offers a comfortable living experience, its commute convenience truly depends on your workplace. If your job is within Ghaziabad or closer parts of Noida, it's a practical choice. But for daily travel to deeper parts of Delhi, be prepared for a long journey. Consider your daily travel time carefully before settling on this one.

My office is in Noida Sector 62. The post says 45-60 minutes commute. Is that realistic during peak hours? I'm trying to avoid daily traffic jams at all costs. I'm a first-time buyer and this is a huge investment, so I need to be sure about the daily routine.
I'm looking for a 1BHK. Is ₹17 L a realistic starting price, or is that just for some super small, unpopular unit? I'm on a very tight budget and every lakh matters. Also, what about amenities? Are they fully functional since it's completed?
For a 1BHK at ₹17L in Ghaziabad, you might find some options, but quality and location will be a compromise. Devika Skypers might be slightly above that for a decent unit. Consider other areas like Achchheja if budget is super strict, but connectivity will be even tougher.
Yes, ₹17 L is probably for the smallest 1BHK, maybe on a lower floor. Don't expect a lot of space at that price point. Amenities like gym and club house should be functional in a completed society, but confirm during site visit. Sometimes they're not maintained well.
The post says possession date was 2019-12-31. So it's been occupied for a few years now. How's the society management? Any issues with water supply or electricity? These small things can become big headaches later.
Devika Skypers sounds good on paper, especially the 'ready-to-move' part, that's what I'm looking for. Price range of ₹17 L – ₹97 L is quite broad. Does anyone know the actual price for a decent 2BHK there? And what about the builder, Pragati Group (Devika Group Enterprise)? Are they reliable?
I heard some mixed reviews about the builder's after-sales service, but the project is completed, so that's a plus. My cousin lives in a project nearby in Abhay Khand and says the market there is pretty stable. Good time to buy if you're okay with the location.
Bhai, Pragati Group ka track record theek-thaak hai. But always do your due diligence. For a 2BHK, expect something in the ₹45-60 L range depending on size and floor. Average ₹5500/Sqft is about right. Check the RERA number UPRERAPRJ8821 on the website for all details.
Hey everyone, I just saw the post about Devika Skypers. Looks interesting, ready-to-move is a big plus for me. Commute is my main worry though. My office is in CP, so Ghaziabad feels a bit far. Any thoughts on how bad the daily grind would actually be from Raj Nagar Extension to Central Delhi?
Totally agree with the commute concern. I visited the project last month. The flats looked good, especially the 2BHKs, but the location for Delhi commuters is the real deal-breaker. If your work is in Ghaziabad or maybe Noida Sector 62/63, then it's fine. Otherwise, be prepared for a long journey. Maybe try to find something closer to a metro station in Vaishali or Indirapuram?
CP tak toh bhai, bahut mushkil hai. My friend lives in Ahinsa Khand 1 and works near Connaught Place, takes him almost 2 hours one way. Raj Nagar Extension se toh aur bhi zyada lagega. Metro pakadne tak ka time bhi add kar lo.
