Direct builder deals are a myth, brokers get better offers

My kids' school admission is next year, so we need a 3BHK sorted in Yelahanka quickly. We're looking at Prestige Group. I heard a rumour that brokers can actually get better spot discounts or throw in extras like interiors than going direct to the builder. Is this true in Bangalore? I always assumed direct was cheaper for an around 1.5 Cr property. What's been your experience, especially with brokers versus builder sales teams?

Brokers? Better than builder direct? Sounds fishy to me. Builder ki apni sales team hoti hai, unko toh direct sell karna hai. Why would they give a better deal to a middleman? I always thought direct was the most transparent and cheapest way to go.

Nahi bhai, you are wrong. Brokers have quotas and pre-negotiated rates with builders. They often get better margins which they can pass on partly.
