DLF Phase 3: What they don't tell you about family amenities
₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK in DLF Phase 3 was the quote I got 18 months ago. From my experience, the property value here is strong, but I'm concerned about the actual livability for families. Getting my kids into decent schools nearby seemed like a nightmare back then. Are there enough good options within a reasonable commute, or is it still a huge struggle for admissions? Also, what's the ground reality for hospitals? For an area with such high-value properties, I'd expect top-tier medical facilities right at hand, not just clinics. Finally, the food scene and daily needs — are the local markets good, or is it mostly reliance on expensive malls and online delivery? I've seen areas where the ROI looks great, but daily life is a constant hassle. Any insights from current residents on these aspects would be genuinely helpful.

Totally agree with the OP! ₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK in DLF Phase 3 18 months ago sounds reasonable considering its prime location and future potential, but the family amenities part is a real concern for me too. My wife and I are also looking in that area for our first home, and the school admissions process felt like a warzone last year when we started researching. Are there any actual parents here who can shed light on the ground reality of getting kids into good schools within a reasonable distance? And what about safe play areas for toddlers, are they easily accessible?
