Honestly, I'm fed up of renting. My landlord just raised rent again, so I'm finally taking the plunge to buy. I'm looking at DLF Privana West in Mohali, brochure looks good, but I'm worried about the daily realities. Specifically, elevator quality and maintenance. Kya builders high-speed lifts promise karte hain, par phir woh hamesha break down ho jaati hain? Aur maintenance response time ka kya scene hai? Agar lift phans jaye ya light chali jaye, kitni der mein theek karte hain? Maintenance charges bhi kafi hote hain, but is the service value for money? Kisi ka experience hai DLF Privana West ya general Mohali projects mein with this? Don't want to pay EMI aur phir bhi basic facilities ke liye struggle karu.

Dekho yaar, yeh builder promises aur reality ka gap bahut common hai, especially for ongoing projects. DLF Privana West toh abhi ONGOING hai, aur possession date 2031-12-01 hai. Itna wait karna padega aur tab bhi yeh basic issues face karne pade toh kya faayda? Mere cousin ne ek project mein invest kiya tha Badshahpur mein, unko bhi lift ke maintenance charges itne high lag rahe the but service was pathetic. Always check the RERA number (GGM/819/551/2024/46)
Bhai, same exact thought! Main bhi DLF Privana West dekh raha tha, but yeh elevator aur power backup ki tension bahut hai. Mere ek friend ne Gurugram mein ek project mein liya tha flats, Airport Road side, wahan lifts hamesha issues dete hain. Builder ne sirf brochure mein badi baatein ki thi.
