DLF Silver Oaks Gurgaon: What's their delivery history?
Saw a video on DLF Silver Oaks in Gurgaon, specifically those 2 BHKs in Phase 1. It got me thinking about DLF Ltd.'s overall track record. The video shows a fully furnished corner apartment which looks good, but I'm curious about the builder's past projects. How's their construction quality usually? Any long delays on possession that people have faced with DLF? Anyone here have personal experience with DLF deliveries or quality, especially in Gurgaon? Would love to hear your thoughts before I look into it more.

Exactly, the prices are for a ready property. But 2014 is quite old. Wouldn't an older building have higher maintenance issues down the line? I'm looking at places in Basai also, and even those new constructions are cheaper than this. Is the 'DLF' brand really worth that much more in an established place like this?

What about the resale value and maintenance costs for such older, premium properties in Gurgaon?

The prices now, ₹2.6 Cr – ₹4.5 Cr, reflect the current market value for a well-established society in a prime Gurgaon location. It's not a new launch price, which is why it feels steep. It's for a property that has already appreciated significantly.

Speaking from personal experience with DLF, my friend's parents bought a flat in a DLF project off Airport Road a decade ago. Quality was excellent, no doubt. But they did face a significant delay, almost 1.5 years past the promised date. It was frustrating for them then, though now they're happy with the property. So, delays are definitely a possibility with DLF, even if the end product is good.

Quality achhi ho sakti hai, but delivery timelines ka sunke darr lagta hai. My uncle booked a flat near Badshahpur kuch saal pehle with a big builder, aur unki possession 2 saal late hui thi. DLF ka bhi aisa scene rehta hai kya?
DLF toh brand name hai, bhai. Quality generally top-notch hi rehti hai. Thoda premium zaroor hota hai, but you get what you pay for.
