Does price negotiation really work in Gurugram?
Spent the whole Sunday checking out options near Dwarka Expressway, also looked at a Silverglades project in Pataudi. My kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and need a smaller, manageable 2BHK with good society amenities and an elevator. Builders quotes sunn kar toh dimag ghoom gaya hai. Matlab, the base price is one thing, but then they add PLC, parking, club membership... it's never ending. Does price negotiation actually work in Gurugram? Like, kitna realistically expect kar sakte hain to knock off from the quoted price, especially for a ready-to-move unit? And what about the hidden charges that only pop up at possession? Should I factor in a huge buffer for those? Trying to get a real picture of the all-in cost, including stamp duty, registration, and interiors. Koi experience share karega?

Bhai, negotiation toh Gurugram mein mushkil lagta hai. Builders apni marzi chalate hain. Base price mein toh kuch ho bhi jaata hai, but yeh PLC, IDC, club membership, sab pakka fix hota hai. Ready-to-move mein toh aur bhi kam chance hai, unko pata hai log jaldi chahte hain. Kitna buffer rakhna chahiye hidden charges ke liye?
