Kothrud — I'm looking at a small 2BHK there, my first property. My CA mentioned something about Section 24 for home loan interest, even if it's a second home. Honestly, I had no idea you could get benefits for *two* properties. Does anyone actually use this for tax savings? Seems like a good hack if you're holding onto an old flat.

Bhai, this is exactly what I was thinking! My parents have an old flat in Akurdi that's lying vacant, and I'm planning to buy my first home in Kothrud too. If I can show the Akurdi one as rented out (even if it's not, wink wink) and claim Section 24 benefits on both, it's a game-changer for tax savings. My CA also hinted at this. But how much can you actually save? Any idea?
