Downsizing after 30 years: my security dilemma

After 30 years in our big family home, downsizing to a flat feels right but the security claims bother me. Everyone glorifies "24/7 security" but has anyone actually checked CCTV quality ya guard training? J K Luxury Floor mein bhi bolte hain "state-of-the-art" but ground reality kya hai? Most societies just put up a show. Change my mind.
