posted on 4 MayDownsizing in Chandigarh: What's the real society life?
After the kids moved out last year, we finally decided it's time to downsize from our big house. Don't need such a huge place anymore, looking for something manageable in Chandigarh, maybe near a hospital. I'm checking places like Saini Bhawan. My main concern is, are the promised amenities actually useful? I mean, are clubhouses really used, or are they just showpieces? And those maintenance charges... do they genuinely reflect good service, or is it just for basic upkeep? We want a proper community feel, not just a building.

Downsizing is a smart move, but Chandigarh mein options limited
Exactly! Builders promise the moon, but after possession, it's a different story. Is Saini Bhawan RERA registered?
Sahi baat hai! 'Community feel' toh sab bolte hain, but ground reality alag hoti hai. Maintenance charges bhi sunke darr lagta hai.
