Downsizing in Ghaziabad: Prices giving me jitters
I'll be honest, after living in our big house for 30 years, property hunting feels like a whole new world. Kids have moved out, so we're looking for a manageable 2BHK in Ghaziabad, maybe around Sector 6 or Vaishali. Our budget is ₹70-80L after selling our current place. But yaar, prices have shot up so much! Builders like ATS and Gulshan Homz ke projects mein rates dekh ke toh lagta hai they're already expecting 2026 ke prices. Is this current price rise sustainable, or are we heading for a correction soon? Don't want to buy high and then regret. Also, for someone like us who needs good connectivity to hospitals and daily needs, which areas do you think will appreciate well in the next couple of years? I'm looking for a safe, low-maintenance society, not just investment. Any thoughts on the actual per sqft cost vs. advertised rates too?
