Downsizing in Gurgaon: My hunt for a manageable home

Did a site visit to a few projects on Golf Course Extension Road last weekend. My kids have moved out, so this big house feels too much now. I'm looking for a manageable 2BHK or compact 3BHK, maybe around ₹2 Cr, with good hospital proximity. Honestly, I'm worried about construction quality. Are plaster cracks and finishing issues still common with M3M or Godrej after possession? The brochures show amazing amenities, but are they actually delivered as promised, or are half of them just on paper? Also, what's the customer support like post-booking? Do DLF or Emaar actually pick up the phone if you have queries? Just want something hassle-free for this stage of life. Any advice on these builders?
