Downsizing in Noida Extension: timing is everything
Okay, I'll be honest – selling our old family home has been way more emotional than I thought. Kids have moved out, so we don't need such a big place anymore. We're looking at a compact 2BHK in Noida Extension, something manageable with good society amenities and near a hospital. My biggest worry is the timing. Our current property bechne mein time lag raha hai, and then buying a new one. Should we go for ready-to-move flats in say, Sector 150 or 137, ya under-construction projects like Godrej or Mahagun? RERA ke baad bhi delays ka darr toh rehta hai. If our old house sells quickly, I don't want to be stuck waiting for possession. Is the resale market healthy right now for bigger properties? Also, low maintenance is key for us. Any suggestions for societies known for that and good lifts?

Oh man, I totally feel you! Selling the family home is such an emotional roller coaster. We're in the same boat, looking to downsize from a 3BHK in Indirapuram to a 2BHK in Noida Extension. The timing is my biggest headache too. What if our current property takes forever to sell, and then the prices for 2BHKs shoot up? Or worse, we invest in under-construction and get stuck with delays. Ready-to-move in Sector 150 looks good but budget scary hai. This whole process is so stressful!
