Empty nester's dilemma: Gurgaon reality check
Okay I'll be honest — selling our big house after the kids moved out and finding a smaller place in Gurgaon has been a headache. We saw Paras The Manor, and the brochure with all the green spaces and that massive clubhouse looked perfect. The sales team promised the world, saying it'd be ideal for empty nesters like us, low maintenance, peaceful. We're planning to put our resale money into it. But I'm hearing so many stories now about projects where the actual amenities are nothing like the brochure. The 'green areas' turn out to be tiny patches, and the clubhouse is still half-built years later. Is this common, or just bad luck? I don't want to regret moving from our current place. What was your experience with what was promised versus what you actually got at possession, especially for older folks like us who want something manageable?
