Empty nester's dilemma: Rent or buy in Delhi?

Greater Kailash — everyone glorifies buying for stability, but I'm just not seeing it anymore. Kids have moved out, so I'm selling our big house here. Looking for a manageable 2BHK, maybe in Saket or Vasant Kunj. Honestly, with property prices now touching ₹2.5 Cr for a decent 2BHK, plus society charges and upkeep... it feels like renting makes more sense. Why lock up so much capital for a 2-3% rental yield if I were to rent it out? Shouldn't I just rent a nice place and invest the rest elsewhere? Change my mind.
