My kids have moved out, so we're selling our Kothrud house. Looking for a low-maintenance 2BHK in Baner or NIBM Road. Capital gains tax se kaise bachein? Any Section 54EC advice for us empty nesters?

Yaar, capital gains tax is a nightmare. Even for us first-timers, this thought gives me anxiety for the future. Kothrud mein property bechna toh achha deal hoga, but tax ka darr toh lagta hai. Hope they find a good solution.

Totally agree bhai! My dad also faced this when selling our ancestral home. Government ko kuch relief dena chahiye, especially for retired folks.
