Family's future: Emaar CGV a real home?
Commonwealth Games Village — keeps coming up every time I shortlist something for our next home. We're a family of four, need a bigger 3BHK now, kids' school admission is a huge factor. My wife's priority is safety and a good community feel. Is Emaar CGV genuinely good for daily living, or just good on paper? What's the actual amenity quality like? Are the facilities well-maintained, or just for show? How about the neighborhood? Are there good schools nearby for the kids, and decent markets? And maintenance charges... what are residents really paying monthly? It's a big flat, so I'm guessing it's high. Also, noise levels, air quality? Is it actually peaceful for families? Honestly not sure if it's worth the ₹8.30 Cr. Any current residents or anyone who's lived there, please share your experience.

₹8.3 Cr for a 2011 project? Seriously? The post says possession was 2011-09-01, so it's already 13 years old. I'm worried about the upkeep and if major renovations will be needed right after buying, which would add to the cost. Maintenance charges for older large societies are usually a nightmare. Are we talking about a complete overhaul for plumbing or electricals? My budget is already stretched thin.
