Fed up of renting, now eyeing Sector 1B
My landlord just hiked the rent again, and honestly, I'm fed up of renting. Finally taking the plunge to buy in Gurgaon. I'm looking at Sector 1B. I recently visited and noticed some projects have decent security, but what about the overall area? Especially for women and kids at night, kitna safe hai? One thing I found out is about the water supply; some older buildings still rely on borewell. Is that true for most of Sector 1B or is municipal water common now? Aur power cuts ka kya scene hai? Builder ne DG backup ka promise toh kiya hai, but ground reality kya hai? Also, I'm thinking long term. Resale market ka kya haal hai idhar? Agar 3-4 saal mein relocate karna pada, toh will it be easy to sell? Or value drop ho jayegi? I'm trying to figure out if the initial high price is justified with future appreciation. Any resident experience would be helpful.
