posted on 25 MayFed up renting: my Mohali property worry
₹45 lakh for a 2BHK in Mohali was appealing, especially after my landlord raised rent again. I'm seriously looking at the Affordable Housing Projects corridor, finally taking the plunge from renting. Honestly, I'm so nervous about hidden charges and actual possession timelines. I've been fed up paying rent for years, but this feels like a huge commitment. Brochures look great, but I've heard stories: sudden layout changes, unexpected PLC charges popping up at the last minute. Are these common red flags in Mohali's affordable segments? What should I really look out for before committing? Don't want to regret this big step because of some small print or builder delay.

Totally feel you on this! Renting is a black hole for money, but buying feels like jumping into another one, just bigger. Mohali's affordable projects look tempting, but hidden costs are my biggest nightmare too. Is there any way to really confirm all charges upfront, or are we always at the builder's mercy?
Haan bhai, transparency toh sapna hai. But the builder mentioned, Arun Gaur And CO, showing 'Total projects: 0' is a massive red flag. Be super careful!
