My lease ends in 3 months and I'm totally fed up with my landlord raising rent again. I'm finally taking the plunge to buy in Bengaluru. My budget is around 1.3 Cr. I'm eyeing areas like Whitefield or Sarjapur Road. Should I go for a 2BHK or stretch for a 3BHK? My main goal is long-term appreciation and decent rental yield. For IT folks, which unit size is actually better in these areas? Any experiences with Prestige or Sobha projects on this front? Not sure if 3BHK gives enough extra value for the higher EMI.

1.3 Cr for a good 3BHK in Whitefield or Sarjapur Road is a serious stretch, bhai. You'll either get something very compact, or in an area with poor connectivity, or from a builder with a questionable track record. Don't just fall for the 'Prestige/
