Finally buying in Faridabad: The tax 'hack' no one talks about?
Since January, I've been shortlisting flats in Faridabad and honestly, I'm so fed up of renting. Landlord ne rent phir badha diya. Everyone talks about EMI vs rent math, but no one really highlights the *actual* tax benefits of owning. I'm looking at 3BHKs in Sectors 75-89, maybe a BPTP or Puri project, around ₹1Cr. My CA bola Section 24, 80C se kaafi savings hoti hai. Matlab, net outflow EMI se kam ho jata hai. Is it just me, or are we underestimating this big time? Should I push for a slightly bigger loan for those tax perks? Change my mind.
