Finally buying in Gurgaon — confused about infra project impact
My lease ends in a few months and I'm really fed up of renting, landlord raised rent again, you know how it is. Finally taking the plunge to buy in Gurgaon. My budget is around ₹1.8 Cr for a 2BHK or small 3BHK, mostly for end-use but with an eye on appreciation. I'm looking at areas along Dwarka Expressway and SPR, thinking about New Gurugram sectors or even around Sarhol. With the Dwarka Expressway completion, and talks of the SPR Metro extension, I'm trying to figure out where to put my money. Is the hype real for these infra projects? Are those completion timelines actually realistic, or will we see more delays? Want to avoid getting stuck with a project that promises connectivity but delivers years later. Which areas do you think will actually see the biggest jump in prices from these? What does the community think?
