Chikkasanne projects — Chaitra Greenwoods ka early 2024 possession bola tha, abhi tak kuch nahi. EMI aur rent dono chal raha hai. Builder ka customer support bhi phone nahi utha raha. Yeh delays kitne common hain?

U1, to answer your question, delays unfortunately are quite common, especially post-COVID and with material costs fluctuating. Builders often overpromise and under-deliver. Main khud Adigara Kallahalli mein ek project mein stuck hoon, last year possession bola tha, abhi tak wait kar raha hoon. The Bengaluru market is tough for buyers right now, inventory high hai but good projects with timely delivery are rare and expensive.
U9, it's tough, but don't lose hope. First, check your agreement for specific penalty clauses for delays. Then, send a formal legal notice to the builder. If they're still unresponsive, RERA is definitely the next step. Gather all communication proofs – emails, messages, calls. Sometimes forming a buyers' association helps to collectively put pressure. It's a long fight, but not impossible to get some compensation or resolution.
So what can we even do in such situations? Builders just get away with it? Mera loan EMI bhi start hone wala hai but flat ka abhi tak koi sign nahi.

Chaitra Constructions? Yaar, maine RERA website pe check kiya tha, inke track record mein 0 completed projects dikha raha hai. Yeh shayad isliye ho raha hai. First-time buyers ke liye aise naye builders se door rehna chahiye, bahut bada red flag hai.

Meri cousin ne bhi ek naye builder se Aavalahalli mein book kiya tha aur unko bhi same issues face karne pade – constant delays, har baar naye bahane, aur customer service toh bhool hi jao. Eventually, unko legal action tak lena pada. Jab EMI aur rent dono chal rahe ho, toh yeh situation nightmare ban jaati hai. Hamesha builder ka past record check karo, sirf promises pe mat jao.
Haan bhai, allowed toh hai, but risky bahut hota hai. RERA mein details honi chahiye, but ek naya builder matlab higher risk of delays. Mere ek dost ke saath Akshayanagar mein same hua tha, 2 saal late mila flat.
