Finding real value in Chandigarh feels like a puzzle.
₹78 lakh for a 2BHK in Sector 34B feels steep. Fed up of renting, I'm finally taking the plunge. Looking at new projects and resale. For builders like The Uppal Group, how much can you negotiate? Are spot discounts actual savings? Or is the secondary market where real price negotiation happens? What's the best approach for an investor in Chandigarh?

Uppal Group ka naam suna hai, but negotiation ka scene unke saath mushkil hai. My cousin tried recently for a project in New Chandigarh, they barely moved by 2-3% on the final offer, aur woh bhi after pulling teeth. Spot discounts are mostly marketing gimmicks, they just adjust the base price or add hidden charges elsewhere. Has anyone actually gotten a significant discount, like 10% or more, from a Tier 1 builder in Chandigarh recently?
Honestly, 10% is a dream
Yaar, 78 lakh for a 2BHK in Sector 34B is definitely on the higher side. I'm also tired of paying rent and looking to buy, but the prices here are just insane. Lagta hai builders ne milke rate decide kiye hain. It's so frustrating trying to find something decent in budget.
Haan, aur upar se Manimajra mein bhi prices sky-high hain. I saw a 2BHK there for 65 lakhs, which seemed more reasonable but still not a steal. What's even considered 'budget' in Chandigarh anymore?
Totally agree bhai! Same pinch. Renting is a black hole.
