The actual 'all-in' cost of a flat in Bangalore is seriously something else. I'm looking at a 2BHK in Kengeri by Keya Homes, and jab builder ₹78L quote karta hai, woh toh bas base price hoti hai. Stamp duty, registration, interior work, utility connections, OC charges... sab add karte karte I'm seeing almost 15-20% extra. Honestly, I had no idea itna zyada hota hai beyond the property price. My parents keep saying 'beta, budget extra rakhna', ab samajh aa raha hai. How did you guys plan for these hidden costs? Kya koi general rule of thumb hai for this extra amount? I'm worried about missing something big.

Totally agree! I'm looking at a place near Arekere, and the base price felt like a bait. Builder ne toh bataaya bhi nahi tha ki utility connections ke bhi itne paise lagenge. It's a rude awakening for first-time buyers.
Sahi keh rahe ho. Mera bhi same haal hua. For a 60L flat, I ended up paying almost 12L extra for everything including registration and initial interior work. Keya Homes ka toh track record bhi dekh lo
