First investment property: Chandigarh reality check
Saini Bhawan – I'm really trying to understand the long-term play here for investment. My budget is tight, so every detail matters. I'm looking at a 2BHK there, but honestly, I'm worried about construction quality. Friends who bought elsewhere mentioned issues like seepage after a year, which means unexpected maintenance costs down the line. That'll eat into my ROI. Also, the clubhouse and other facilities – do tenants actually use them enough to justify a higher rent or future resale premium? Or are they just fancy showpieces that become ghost facilities? My parents keep saying basic quality beats fancy amenities any day. Is it really worth paying extra for a project with a huge clubhouse if it's barely used and just adds to maintenance? What have been your experiences with Saini Bhawan or similar projects in Chandigarh regarding this?
