First Pune flat: hidden costs and under-construction worries
Under-construction projects feel like such a gamble sometimes, especially for a first-timer. I'm eyeing a 2BHK with Rama Group in Keshav Nagar. The basic price looks alright, but honestly, I'm clueless about the final budget. How much should I realistically set aside *beyond* the property price for things like stamp duty, registration, and basic interiors? Did anyone have unexpected costs pop up? Also, for under-construction, what's a solid checklist for site visits? What specific questions should I ask about delivery timelines or potential delays? My parents are pushing for resale, but new launches seem more promising. Just trying to understand the full picture before committing. Any advice on managing these unknowns?

Totally relate yaar! I'm looking in Wagholi and the base price looks good, but then I hear about 'floor rise', 'view charges', 'amenity charges'... it's endless! How much extra did you guys actually end up paying for all these hidden charges?
Sahi kaha, bhai! Builder toh sirf carpet area ka rate batata hai, baaki sab baad mein pata chalta hai. Mere friend ka 15-20% upar gaya tha Pune mein.
