First-time buyer in Bangalore, totally confused about next step
Budget finalized, loan pre-approved — but abhi bhi pricing aur hidden costs ka tension hai. Shree Maheshwara Developers ke project mein Carmelaram mein dekh raha tha, they're quoting ₹1.3 Cr for a 2BHK. Kya Bangalore mein actual negotiation possible hai? Kitna percentage expect kar sakte hain? Property price ke upar kitna extra lagta hai total? Stamp duty, registration, parking, PLC, interiors... sab mila ke kitna upar jaata hai? Aur suna hai possession pe kuch random charges bhi aate hain, like 'utility connection charges' or something. Has anyone faced this? Honestly, I'm so confused.

Yaar, I know exactly what you're feeling. I was looking in Aavalahalli for a 3BHK last year and the builder quoted ₹1.5 Cr. When I finally got the breakup, it was like ₹1.8 Cr! Negotiation is definitely possible, but don't expect miracles, maybe 2-3% if you're lucky and it's an inventory they want to clear. These hidden charges are the real killers, they add up to a significant chunk of your budget. Don't trust any initial quote without a detailed cost sheet.
