Sarjapur Road keeps coming up every time I shortlist something. Honestly, I'm fed up of renting; my landlord raised rent again, so I'm finally taking the plunge. Trying to figure out the EMI vs rent math properly. Is a 3BHK from Prestige Group around 1.8 Cr realistic for an EMI without stretching too much? I'm worried about common mistakes first-time buyers make here. What should I watch out for with all the Namma Metro Phase 2/3 expansion work happening? Any advice on this?

Yaar, same boat! Sarjapur Road is everywhere, but 1.8 Cr for a 3BHK from Prestige sounds like a stretch for a first-timer. EMI vs rent is a headache. Metro connectivity will be good, no doubt, but is it worth paying such a premium right now? I'm also worried about those hidden charges builders spring up later.
