First-time buyer shocker: My budget is already out of whack

Honestly, I completely underestimated how much extra money you need beyond the property price. My budget for a 2BHK in Pocket 8 with Property Mart was set, but now suddenly there's stamp duty, registration, and these weird PLC charges. I had no idea it'd add up to almost 10-12% more! My parents keep saying 'yeh sab toh hota hi hai', but it feels like a trap. Did anyone else get surprised by these hidden costs? What else should I prepare for post-booking?
