Floor-rise premium is a total scam in Hyderabad
Been looking for 6 months now and buying a flat in Hyderabad feels like a maze. Fed up of renting, landlord increased rent again, so finally taking the plunge for a 3BHK. I was checking out Salarpuria Sattva in Hayathnagar, prices are already high, around ₹1.2 Cr for a 3BHK. But yaar, this floor-rise premium is killing me! Builders charge ₹25-50 per sqft per floor. Matlab, 10th floor pe toh ₹5-10 lakh extra ho jaate hain. Is it really worth paying so much extra just for a higher floor? Does it even affect resale value much in the long run? Like, for a 3BHK, does the 'view' justify the massive extra cost? Honestly, not sure. Or is it just a builder gimmick? Has anyone actually seen a good ROI from paying high floor-rise charges in Hyderabad?

Exactly my thoughts, bhai! This floor-rise premium is just another way to squeeze more money out of us first-time buyers. I'm looking in Gachibowli, and the rates are already through the roof. Then on top of that, they add lakhs for a 'better view' which isn't even guaranteed in Hyderabad's concrete jungle. Feels like a pure gimmick to me too.
Totally agree yaar. Builders make it sound like you're getting a luxury apartment, but it's just
