Been paying rent for years and it's just getting ridiculous, landlord hiked it again. Finally thinking of buying in Cantonment / Fraser Town. My budget is around 1.5 Cr for a 2BHK there, maybe a bit more if it's really worth it. Honestly, not sure if these prices are justified, they seem really high compared to other parts of Bengaluru. Is there any negotiation room, or are we just stuck with these numbers? Also, what about investment potential? If I buy now, can I expect decent appreciation in 3-5 years? Or is it already saturated? And how's the water situation there? Heard mixed things about borewell dependency. Any advice on what to look out for?
