From 2BHK to 3BHK – my payment plan nightmare

Honestly, I completely underestimated how much a construction-linked payment plan can drain you. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 99, Sohna, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK, maybe even a villa. We booked with Shree Vardhman Group for a new 3BHK, thinking it'd be done by late 2025. Now, project delivery seems delayed by a good year, maybe more. My biggest headache hai ki I'm already paying EMI for the new place based on construction progress, but still paying rent for my current 2BHK. It's like paying for two homes! Is this price jump for a 3BHK even worth it if the builder ka track record aisa hai? Anyone else in Sohna facing similar issues with payment traps and delays? How are you guys managing this double financial burden?
