Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on which sector. I'm currently in a 2BHK near Marathahalli, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or even a villa. Everyone glorifies these premium complexes like Sobha Silicon Oasis for their amenities, but honestly, are they even usable? I mean, a fancy clubhouse is great on paper, but if it's always empty or poorly maintained, what's the point? Are we just paying a huge premium for ghost facilities? And the maintenance charges... it feels like we're paying top dollar but the actual service quality often lags behind. Is the price jump really worth it for just slightly bigger space and unusable amenities? Should I stick to a standalone house instead? Change my mind.

Maybe consider a slightly older, well-established society in a good locality like Akshayanagar or even Adigara Kallahalli.
